Camerata Florianópolis welcomes spring playing “As Quatro Estações”, by Antonio Vivaldi, in free live

Florianopolis Camerata will hold on the 10th of September, at 20h, its first live open and free at orchestra YouTube channel. The presentation, conducted by the maestro Jeferson Della Rocca, will have as soloists VAT Giracca, Elias Vicente Souza, Deborah Remor e Talita Limas Alves. Together they will perform one of the most acclaimed works by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi: “The Four Seasons” Opus 8.

The composition, which integrates the work Il cement dell'armonia e dell'invenzione, is one of the best known classical music by the general public. And, indeed, it is the most striking of Vivaldi, who was born in Venice in 1678 and died in Vienna in 1741.

The program of this virtual concert starts with the track "The spring", through which the arrival of the flower season is announced, suggesting the song of birds and the murmur of fountains, followed by a storm, the return of dream landscapes and the peasant festival - which closes the movement with nymphs and shepherds dancing under the mild sun of the season. Followed by it come representations of the three other seasons.

Na live, the soloists and conductor will comment on more information and curiosities about Vivaldi's work.
