O Cinema Angola holds, on August 02nd at 19pm, an online debate about the film Félicité (2017), directed by French-Senegalian filmmaker Alain Gomis. The session counts with the partnership of Cine Africa em Casa, of the African Film Festival, which made the film available online.
The guest to comment on the session is Prudence Kalambay, artist and political activist, born in the Democratic Republic of Congo. will also participate Alex Brandao, filmmaker and researcher of African cinemas, and Vitor Lima, psychodramatist psychologist. Then, the debate will be open to everyone who wants to ask questions to the guest, share reflections, concerns, or expose a spontaneous manifestation.
Film Synopsis: Félicité sings in a bar in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo. When her 14-year-old son is in a motorcycle accident, she begins a frantic search through the streets of Kinshasa, in a world of music and dreams. Her path crosses that of Tabu.
