Wrapping up the August program Show Public Domain, promoted by the partnership between film clubs working at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), on August 21th: the film will be shown and debated online "auspicious" (Faust – Eine Deutsche Volkswagen), released in 1926 by FW Murnau.
Synopsis: Faust, an old alchemist who sees his city being ravaged by the black plague. Seeing so much death, he starts to think about his own finitude. He then summons Mephistopheles, and asks him for his youth back. The devil guarantees it, in exchange for your soul.
The feature film will be hosted on YouTube and the link released on the day of the session, through the social networks of the cineclubs (click here).
