Victor Meirelles Museum (Ibram/Secult/MTur) launches, on October 20, 2021, the second episode of the monthly podcasts of Project Talking in Collections, available free of charge on the Portal of the Study Group Politics of Collections and on the Spotify app. The theme will be like Museology Course at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) proposes the study and investigation of Collections Policy, with the guest Thaina Castro, museologist and professor of the Museology course at UFSC.
The Falando em Acervos Project aims to present a series of monthly podcasts with different professionals invited to dialogue on Collections Acquisition and Disposal Policies and topics related to the Management of Collections in museums. The initiatives are from the Collections Policy Study Group, started in 2011 by the MVM team and with the joint participation of other institutions to establish its Policy for the Acquisition and Disposal of Musealized Goods.
