Live: Dystopia and historical imagination are topics addressed by Professor Julio Bentivoglio

Dystopia is an imaginary reality in which people live amidst authoritarianism and deprivation. Talking about the subject helps to understand a lot about history and imagination. And on Wednesday, December 9th, Professor Julio Bentivoglio will talk about the topic at the free virtual meeting promoted by BADESC Cultural Foundation.

Starting at 19:30 pm, the professor who teaches Theory of History at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), will explain about the research History in trance: dystopia, historical imagination and interdiction of futures. The meeting includes a series of lives of the project A history between images and sounds, a partnership with the Postgraduate Program in History of the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC) and the Image and Sound Laboratory.
