To commemorate the association's 29th anniversary Joy doctors, the show Doctors of Joy Tell Stories will have a special edition this Friday (18/9), at 19 pm, on the official Youtube channel (/tvdoutores) and on the Facebook page (/doutores). Participate the founder wellington nogueira, artists from the current cast and special guests, with artistic direction by Ronaldo Aguiar e David Taiyu.
The edition also brings together people who already work for the organization and helped to build it, sharing stories and experiences, in a playful way: angelo brandini (artistic creation), Thais Ferrara e Heraldo Firmino (Doctors of Joy School), Marcelino Dias (actor in the Recife cast) and the researcher Morgana Masetti, author of the first study on the work of bullshit in hospitals.
Other actions to bring joy during the pandemic
For the first time away from public health units due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, Doutores da Alegria continues to adapt so that the relationship between clowns and patients can be alive, even in times of social distance. The realization of a virtual show is one of the actions proposed in this sense, as well as the consultations in hospitals at a distance, the Besteirologic Service, through tablets and in partnership with health professionals.
Others already implemented are the Besteirological Delivery (series of videos created by artists in confinement), the Miolo Mole Festival (the association's first virtual festival, with seven hours of broadcast), a webseries inspired by the feast of Saint John, in addition to lives biweekly.
