This Thursday (15), at 20pm, the Florianopolis Camerata presents a show that has moved generations: the Tribute to the Queen. Due to the pandemic, the presentation will be online, broadcast free of charge on the orchestra's YouTube channel. In other words, just adjust your chair or sit on the sofa, turn on the computer and turn up the volume.
Designed by the same team that has presented the orchestra's most successful program for 11 years, the Rock'n Camerata, the show in honor of Queen began preparations at the end of 2018 and premiered in May of the following year. From then on, wherever he went, he attracted crowds, such as at Trapiche on Avenida Beira Mar Norte, and sold out tickets in all the performances he gave at the CIC Theater. The last edition of the show was at the Petry Arena Drive-in in June last year.
In addition to the Camerata musicians, conducted by maestro Jeferson Della Rocca, the vocalists are part of the show Daniel Galvão, Carla Domingues, Rodrigo “Gnomo” Mattos e Dudu Fileti, the guitarists Eduardo Pimentel e Renato Pimentel, the bassist Babysitter Junior, the drummer Ginho Bernardes and the percussionist Rodrigo Paiva. The composer and pianist signs the orchestral arrangements Albert Heller.
