Considered one of the most important names in contemporary art, the Dutch Vincent Willem van Gogh will be the subject of another edition of the Virtual Museums project, this Saturday (15th), via Youtube. Starting at 15 pm, the online trip will take participants to one of the most sought after museums in the world and allow the public to know a little more about the life and art of this great artist. According to the art educator Claudio Toscan, who leads the visit, Van Gogh created more than two thousand works, but he had his peak of productivity in the last two years of his life.
The next session of the Virtual Museums project is confirmed for the 29/08th and will address the life and work of Michelangelo. The Virtual Museums 2020 project is carried out by the Instituto Maratona Cultural through the Municipal Law of Incentive to Culture of Florianópolis, with cultural support from the Corporate Park.
