Victor Meirelles Museum broadcasts live on architecture and conservation in museums

O Victor Meirelles Museum (MVM) promotes, at 19 pm on August 03, 2022, the live "Architecture + Conservation in Museums”, with the aim of addressing the current challenges in the area. Participants will debate themes, works and projects of broad academic and professional integration, enabling knowledge of the application of concepts, techniques and strategies aimed at disseminating architectural project design processes in museums based in built cultural assets. The transmission is free and takes place on the MVM channel on YouTube.  

The event will be mediated by the architect, urban planner and restorer of the Victor Meirelles Museum. Bettina Collaro Goerlich de Lourenço and Rafaela Alves Felicio, coordinator of the Coordination of Museum Spaces and Architecture (CEMA) of the Department of Museum Processes (DPMUS) of the Brazilian Institute of Museums. The guests are the architect and urban planner Pablo Hereñu, who will present the project for the restoration, modernization and expansion of the Ipiranga Museum in São Paulo, and the architect and urban planner Ana Paula Goncalves Pontes, which will discuss the expographic project of the temporary exhibitions for the Instituto Moreira Salles (IMS), in Rio de Janeiro, located in a modern Brazilian house.
