Afro-indigenous and Latin American music is the theme of a live promoted by the BADESC Cultural Foundation

On Wednesday, November 4th, the doctoral student in History at the University of the State of Santa Catarina (UDESC) Ariana Silva, participates in the virtual meeting promoted by the BADESC Cultural Foundation. In this second edition of the project The story between images and sounds, Ariana will talk about the "Decoloniality and Music: Productions by Latin American Afro-Indian Rappers".

The lecture is part of a series of eight virtual meetings entitled The story between images and sounds, promoted in partnership with the Image and Sound Laboratory and the Graduate Program in History of the University of the State of Santa Catarina (UDESC), is coordinated by the Prof. doctor Rogerio Rosa.

Weekly events run until December 16, 2020, and are always held on Wednesdays at 19:30 pm. Each meeting will have the participation of a guest with the objective of debating on a highlighted theme. Learn more at BADESC Cultural Foundation website.
