The performance of the poet from Santa Catarina Lindolf Bell (1938-1998) in the visual arts circuit of Santa Catarina, between the 1970s and 1990s, will be the subject of a free online lecture promoted by BADESC Cultural Foundation in partnership with Museum of the Santa Catarina School and UDESC. The meeting with the participation of Ana Lucia Beck e Diana Schvartz and presentation of Rosângela Cherem, will be on July 30, from 19:21 to 30:XNUMX, via the Zoom platform. Registration for the lecture is open and can be done by online form.

On Thursday, speakers will discuss their investigations into Bell's role as a curator, gallerist, trader and art critic. In addition to his award-winning and recognized poetry production, Bell founded the first art gallery in the state.

The Açu-Açu Gallery, founded by him in 1970, in Blumenau, became a reference for Santa Catarina, promoting regional art, as well as guaranteeing public access to local and national artistic productions.

Simultaneously, between 1972 and 1995, Bell wrote articles about art in Jornal de Santa Catarina. Through them, he reported on the movement of the artistic circuit in the state, contributing to the formation of new audiences and the legitimation of local productions.
