Sunday schedule (16) of the 2nd Contemporary Egyptian Film Festival

2nd Contemporary Egyptian Film Festival presents 24 titles produced between 2011 and 2019, which reveal the new generation of Egyptian filmmakers in documentaries and fiction of different genres - from comedy to horror, selected by the producer and curator Amro Saad, an Egyptian naturalized Brazilian. 

This Sunday (16), two films will be screened and debated:

17pm Session –Dry green”, by Mohammed Hammad (Egypt, 2016). 73 min. 14 years.

Synopsis: Iman is a conservative religious young woman who is uncomfortable with what others think of her and who maintains a rigid stance on the extinction of social traditions. A terrible discovery, however, will make her abandon all the traditions to which she was once so attached.

20pm Session –don't kiss me”, by Ahmad Amer (Egypt, 2017). 103 min.12 years.
