In order to register and document the current dance production in Santa Catarina, the dancer and researcher from Joinville, Letícia Souza, develops in this second semester of 2020 the project How to dance in SC?. The Florianópolis edition is scheduled for the 05th, 12th, 19th and 26th of August, always at 19pm, on the Zoom platform.
Carried out by the Government of the State of Santa Catarina, through Fundação Catarinense de Cultura, with resources from the Elisabete Anderle Prize for Support to Culture ∕ Arts – 2019 Edition, the project will pass through six cities and will be developed through online meetings, mediated by the researcher and guest participation covering four themes: Dance and Education, Dance and Public Policies, Dance and Production/Management, Dance and Creation.
With the purpose of dialoguing about these issues that permeate the field of dance, artists, researchers, teachers, producers and managers are awaited for the meetings. The reports collected during the project - written records and videos, will be made available through a website - thus allowing free access for those interested in knowing and analyzing the dance production made in Santa Catarina.
