Curupira and Matintaperera, iconic characters of Brazilian folklore, leave the most hidden place in the Amazon rainforest to reach the children's house, via Internet, taking stories with humor, mystery and appeal for environmental preservation and Brazilian indigenous culture. This is the idea of lives scenic “Tales of the Indian and the Forest”, which will be presented on the digital platform Sympla.

"Tales of the Indian and the Forest – By Matintaperera” will be presented from October 03rd to November 28th, on Saturdays, at 15 pm.

"Tales of the Indian and the Forest – By Curupira” will be presented from October 04th to November 29th, on Sundays at 15pm.

The virtual performance is a new project that was born to meet a demand that transcends physical spaces, in addition to proposing a different form of entertainment and knowledge for the whole family.

“Contos do Índio e da Floresta” is not derived from any theatrical play: the actors Claudio Marinho e Viviane Bernard researched indigenous tales to weave the narrative of the presentations in front of the cameras. Together, they are responsible for acting, producing and directing the virtual show.
