Africa in Cinema session addresses the film “Supa Modo”

The Kenyan drama "Supa Modo", which shows the return of a nine-year-old girl, with a terminal illness, to the rural village where she lived, will be the subject of debate. online da Africa in Cinema online session, promoted by Cineclub Cultural Foundation BADESC in partnership with the university extension project promoted by the Laboratory of Studies in African History (LEHAf/UFSC). With support from African Film Festival, the film can be watched for free, before the virtual debate, on the Cinema #EmCasaComSesc platform of SESC Digital. The film will be available between November 26 and December 2. To watch you need to access the link: sescsp.org.br/cineafrica.

In this edition, the filmmaker and curator of the Fundação Cineclube, Vanessa Sandre, welcomes three professionals for the debate: Ana Camila Esteves (Curator of the African Film Festival), Prof. Dr. Silvio Marcus de Souza Correa (LEHAf/UFSC Coordinator) and Alex Brandao (Filmmaker and programmer of the Africa in Cinema session).
