In Portuguese, “rapid meeting”, the Speed Dating is an event model that consists of promoting meetings of singles of the same age group, where there is a rotation in conversations, so that all participating people can meet possible partners. Now, the event arrives in Florianópolis in virtual format, with meetings scheduled for 30/07; 05/08 and 14/08.
In this moment of social distancing, the www.speeddatingvirtual.com.br is a tool made to solve various problems of singles who are improvising to meet in person.
How it works
Organizer Alan Romanelli explains that the events will have the same dynamics as the traditional ones even though they are in virtual format.
On each date, a host welcomes participants who, after a quick introduction, will be directed to other private rooms for private conversations. So, instead of going from table to table as in the traditional event, participants will be directed to different virtual rooms so that everyone meets everyone of the opposite sex in 4-minute conversations. The day after the event, the organization sends the participants privately the contacts of people who had mutual interest.
How to participate
No registration or app download is required to participate. By confirming your registration through the Sympla website, you will receive a link to access the event in your email. To be directed to the event, simply click on this link on the agreed day and time from a computer or cell phone that has a front video camera and microphone.
