“All for My Daughter” and four more films on display at Paradigma Cine Arte’s Virtual Cinema

As an alternative to maintain activities during social isolation, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Paradigm Cine Arte continues to cherish culture and is making available a program of films - which can be watched in the comfort of home, totally online.

In the current programming, there is an emphasis on the novelty "All for My Daughter", produced in South Africa. The feature, directed by Sanele Zulu, tells the story of Thami: a young and successful, black father, who falls into despair when life, the law and the woman he once loved end up forcing him to separate from his own daughter, Lerato. Trying at all costs to maintain a relationship with his daughter, he decides to kidnap her. But Thami ends up being pursued by the police and jeopardizing the lives of several hostages and his future with lerato.

Directed by Petar Ristovski, "The Last King of Serbia" is another programming debut. The film is based on the true story of the disillusioned war veteran known as Petar the First.

Another highlight is "snu", Portuguese work by director Patrícia Sequeira. The synopsis is: Abecassis meets Francisco Sá-Carneiro on January 6, 1976. Both married and with children, fall hopelessly in love and decide to assume that love in a Portugal in full reconstruction from the ashes of fascism , undermining national conventions.

The Hungarian film follows in letters "Valan - Valley of Angels": crime drama directed by Béla Bagota.

It is also on display"Children of the Storm": an epic western frontier adventure in the lore of "True Grit". Based on a novel. bestseller. The film is directed by Matthys Boshoff.
