Christmas Dinner 2020 at João de Barro Restaurant

O João de Barro Restaurant, in Cacupé, will have a special program for the celebration of Ceia from Natal. On the night of December 24th, à la carte dishes will be available and there will be live music (piano, guitar and voice), Christmas decoration - all this embellished by a unique panoramic view.

At 22:XNUMX there will be the traditional tribute to Florianopolis Island, to the sound
of “Noite Feliz” and then the Santa Claus will pass to leave souvenirs for all the children.

Reception: Mini covered with bread baskets (served at the table);

Appetizers (choose one option per person): Filet mignon carpaccio; Shrimp mayonnaise; Ham and heart of palm roulade; Guilherme salad; is Vitel Thonne;

Main Dishes (choose an option):

  • Gomes de Sá cod (port cod loin slices, with vegetables, onions, peppers, black olives and boiled egg; accompanies rice);
  • Cameroon to João de Barro (sautéed with white wine and mushrooms, with 3 types of noodles, nero de sepia, spinach and peppers);
  • Ram to Bombay (mutton shank in a spicy sauce based on curry and Indian spices; accompanies cauliflower au gratin, rice with raisins and chutney);
  • Rabbit in port wine (with rice, polenta cream or mashed potato).
  • Christmas Turkey to California (roasted breast or drumstick accompanies domino potatoes in butter, farofa with almonds, sweet potato pudding, Piedmontese rice and pineapple with ham and eggs);
  • Sorrentino Bariloche (homemade smoked salmon ravioli with mountain sauce au gratin);
  • Ricotta and Walnut Sorrentino (gratin or with tomato sauce);
  • Grilled Salmon or Trout with Crispy Almonds (with sauteed vegetables and noisette potatoes);
  • Talharim João de Barro with filet mignon or chicken breast (crepe noodles au gratin with filet mignon in Madeira sauce).

In addition, there are special dishes for children up to 12 years old (to be consulted with the restaurant).
