A Câmara dos Deputados approved a monthly transfer of R$ 600 to informal workers and people with disabilities who are still waiting in the INSS waiting list until the Continuous Cash Benefit (BPC) is granted.
In the case of women breadwinners, the emergency aid quota will be paid in double (R$ 1,2). To begin to take effect, the text still needs to be appreciated by the Federal Senate.
The amounts are paid for three months, and can be extended while the public calamity lasts due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus.
- Requirements to receive:
1 - be over 18 years of age;
2 - Not having a formal job;
3 - Not being the holder of social and/or social security benefits. (Except the Bolsa Família);
4 - In 2018, not having declared income exceeding R$ 28559,70.
Those who receive a family allowance must opt for a family allowance or a family allowance.
- Who can benefit:
1- MEI
2- Autonomous
3- All informal, unemployed workers.
Only 2 members of the same family can receive the aid, reaching the amount of R$1200.
- How to proceed:
The banks (CEF and Banco do Brasil) will pay, the Ministry of Citizenship will create a calendar, you don't need to be fussed, you don't need to present documentation, as digital accounts and virtual cards will be created.
