One of the largest international spirits competitions has its dispute hosted for the first time in Latin America, with Florianópolis being the venue chosen especially. Considered one of the most frequented islands in the world, the city reveals many natural beauties and with different peculiarities, however, typically Brazilian. The Island will receive 720 samples of cachaças, rums, whiskeys, vodkas, cognacs, brandies, piscos and grappas from all over the world, which will be analyzed blindly by 55 national and international judges. Brazil will compete with the largest number of samples among the participants: 220 of cachaça and 18 of other types of distillates.
