O Sesc Santa Catarina promotes the fifth edition of pedal day, an event that aims to encourage the use of bicycles as an active and sustainable means of transport. The tours include important cultural and historical sites in the itinerary, in order to also promote the cities' heritage. The event path Sesc Prainha exit at Praça de Portugal (Trapiche) towards UFSC, return at Praça República da Grecia and arrive again at Praça de Portugal. The event also features recreational activities, health and education actions and raffles for gifts and bicycles on site.
