The island of Santa Catarina has an appointment with solidarity: the 10th edition of the National Food Collection Day will take place - a campaign that has already entered the national calendar and which has approximately 6 thousand volunteers across the country. Last year, 8,5 tons of food were collected in Florianópolis. The food collected will be destined for 16 entities in the city, among them Casa Lar and Missão Emaús, in the Santa Monica neighborhood, and ACAJE - Amigos de Jesus Community Association, in the English.

Information: In Greater Florianópolis, the food collected will go to 16 entities. The Food Collection volunteers will be in seven supermarkets in the region: Angeloni Beira-Mar, Angeloni Capoeiras, Angeloni Ingleses, Angeloni Santa Monica, Bistek Costeira do Pirajubaé, Giassi Areias, Giassi Campinas and Hippo Alvim.
