the movie show Florianópolis Audiovisual Mercosur (FAM) reaches its 19th edition. During the festival, at the Center for Culture and Events of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, 50 films from eight countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Uruguay) and different Brazilian states will be screened. The films are divided into four different shows: Mercosur Short Film Show, Santa Catarina Short Film Show, Show Doc-FAM e Children's Show.
This edition of FAM honor Zelito Vianna, who has directed more than fifty films, has produced almost all the films by Cacá Diegues, Eduardo Coutinho, Glauber Rocha and Walter Lima Junior. In addition to paying tribute to Paulo Mendonca, general director of Canal Brasil, with 12 films produced or co-produced by the channel, is also known as screenwriter (Prá Frente Brasil) and composer and director of shows for Secos & Molhados.
