In the book Crime Perfecto Rock 1980s, World 48, a description and analysis of rock during the 1980s is made, citing rock songs from Santa Catarina and how they helped in the creation of social networks.
According to the synopsis of the work, written by the historian Rodrigo Mota, the term “Mundo 48” characterizes a geographic space through the telephone prefix, covering Greater Florianópolis and part of the southern region of Santa Catarina. The author analyzes the bands trying to give them all the same importance. Among others, names such as Expresso Rural/Expresso, Ratones/Tubarão, Decalco Mania, Burn, Bandalheia or Stryx are mentioned, in addition to collective albums such as Projeto Ilha I and II and the anthological Crime Perfect.
