The event, held by the Brazilian Army of Santa Catarina, aims to promote the Mutirão Verde at the Cultural Space Fortaleza de Nossa Senhora da Conceição de Araçatuba, for cleaning and conservation of the fort and the island of the same name. In addition, the creation of the cultural spaces "Fortress of Nossa Senhora da Conceição de Araçatuba Historic Site" and "Marechal Moura de Naufragados Historic Site" will also be announced, next to the Naufragados Lighthouse, in the south of the island, for revitalization and use as cultural and historical centers of the Brazilian Army.
The event is supported by the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), the Brazilian Navy (Captaincy of the Ports of Santa Catarina), the Santa Catarina Military Fire Department, the Association of Nautical Transport Companies of Canasvieiras and Scuna Sul.
