Carried out by Associação Náutica Catarinense for Brazil and Instituto Chico Mendes (ICMBio), with support from the City of Florianópolis, the project will carry out another action, this time in the Arvoredo Biological Reserve.
The objective – which has already collected about four tons of garbage from the seabed and coasts in 2014 – is to draw people's attention to the preservation of the seas, islands and marine life as a whole. The initiative, specifically in Arvoredo, is also part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Reserve.
