O Organized Movement of Indispensable Night Workers (Motin) is a group that intends to move a solidarity network and build fundraising actions to help these people who make cultural events possible. The initiative believes that it is necessary to recognize the value and need generated by the meetings that parties, concerts and shows promoted, and help the workers who depend on these actions.
The project started with the collection of donations within two crowdfunding platforms online, Abacashi and PicPay.
The action takes place in order to rethink economic relations, decentralize opportunities and develop the solidarity economy necessary to overcome this moment.
For professionals who received help from Motin, they must have worked at events in the last two years, be over 18 years of age, live in Florianópolis, have no source of income at the moment and not benefit from another parallel campaign.
