The Cinematic session takes to the Cinema Room of the Integrated Center for Culture (CIC), the documentary My Body is Political. The exhibition takes place during Trans Visibility Week and is complemented by a conversation circle on the subject with the guests (Vulcanica Pokaropa, Fernando Maldonando, Lirous K'yo Fonseca Ávila, Raíssa Éris Grimm, and Geni Núñez) and the public. The documentary, directed by Alice Riff, follows residents of the outskirts of São Paulo in relation to the difficulties they face in reconciling sexualities that are far from predetermined standards. The film works with the language of cinéma vérité with a handheld camera following the daily lives of four characters, in close contact with skin and intimacy.
