Cycling practitioners decided to mobilize for an inter-municipal awareness action: the 2nd October Awareness Pedal Pink, which is scheduled for the 24th of October.
On the occasion, cyclists should meet at Praça 7 de Setembro, in the center of Palhoça, at around 07:30 am. And for those who are in other municipalities, the meeting points will be Avenida Beira Mar de São José and Parque de Coqueiros. Thus, the group will continue to the Helipad of Beira-Mar in Florianópolis. That, with everyone wearing pink t-shirts, or using some prop of that color.
The aim of the initiative is to contribute to raising awareness and generating reflection on cancer prevention.
