With your project approved by the Lei Rouanet: 1st International Wine and Jazz Festival brings the premise of being the history and unprecedented multicultural meeting of about 100 artists, divided into 28 music and dance performances, on Santa Catarina Island. The festival is already considered the largest of its kind in Latin America, with more than 30 hours of shows, in addition to providing 100 labels of selected wines from 20 countries for the appreciation and harmonization of the audience present.
During 4 days, the public will have the opportunity to get to know what is currently the best in instrumental music from various countries through interpretations by renowned African, Caribbean, American and Chilean jazz artists. Blues, Bossa Nova and the expected Vocalists' Night. Among the names already confirmed are Trio da Paz, Alex Sipiagin, Jeff Berlin, David Bennet Cohen, Othello Molineaux, Maucha Adnet, Jorge Diaz Leon and Alegre Correa.
In addition to the great names of world jazz, the 1rd Festival also opens space for musicians from the state. About 50 are expected to take the stage to show that Santa Catarina also understands Jazz and Instrumental Music. And to delight spectators even more, the festival will feature performances by dance groups from Santa Catarina. THE company Schiante Cenarium (jazz), the company Grain (contemporary ballroom dancing) and the company Toe troupe (tap) were choices based on the quality of the technical and artistic work.
The festival will also have a structure with six different spaces. The main one will be for the shows, but it will be possible to listen and watch the presentations in several dependencies of the inn complex, which will be all sound and will have big screens.
