The Brazilian Wood Woman was conceived as a “thesis-concert”, that is, a conclusion of the artistic residency of Adriana Calcanhoto at the University of Coimbra, where he spent the last two years between courses and presentations. The immense repercussion of the show generated a tour that started in Europe and arrived in Florianópolis, promoted by Orth Produções. Accompanied by Bem Gil and Bruno Di Lullo, Adriana prepared a script with songs composed in the Lusitanian period, reinterpretations (the recent the caravans, by Chico Buarque, for example) and also finds classics from his repertoire, such as Winter, Vambora e Brackets.
