A Florianopolis Camerata, conducted by the conductor Jefferson Della Rocca, presents next Saturday (19), at 20:30 pm, at Teatro Ademir Rosa (CIC), the opening concert of its 2022 season of classical music, with a vigorous program full of “colorful”, formed by consecrated works by Tchaikovsky, Sarasate and Mussorgsky.
The orchestra, which completed 28 years of uninterrupted activities in January of this year, brings to this season several unpublished programs of different genres and styles, presenting and renewing some of its most successful shows and already having a confirmed schedule of recordings, tours and new partnerships.
In the opening concert of the Classical Music Season, in addition to the renowned Serenade for Strings by Tchaikovsky, considered as one of the main works ever composed for this instrumental formation, the presentation also has a version for strings of “Pictures in an Exhibition” by Mussorgsky , and a string arrangement by Jeferson Della Rocca from Fantasia Carmen, composed by Pablo de Sarasate on themes from Bizet's Opera Carmen, with solos by violinist Iva Giracca.
