Angatu Roots has Tupi origin and means Good Soul, Welfare, Happiness. Created in Florianópolis in 2013, the band mixes Reggae, Hip-Hop, Brazilian Music, Soul and House to create a unique and unmistakable sound. The band has performed in more than 30 cities in southern Brazil in addition to Portugal and Spain. The authorial work shares space in the repertoire with exclusive versions of renowned songs from Brazilian and International Music, such as Tim Maia, Rael, Natiruts, Bob Marley, Damian Marley and other “stones”.
Peter Angi He was the lead singer of the band CULTIVO from its foundation in 2004 until October 2019 and since 2015 he has collaborated with the São Paulo band Sattivus. The singer-songwriter has performed in 72 cities in 7 Brazilian states, in addition to Portugal and Spain. With more than 80 songs released, Pedro Angi also works as a producer for other artists in front of the Quebrando Records label.
