the sambista Arlindo Cruz is the attraction of the Concurso Rainha do Carnaval de Florianópolis, scheduled for the penultimate day of this month, at Passarela Nego Quirido. The musician, composer and samba and pagode singer has already participated in Grupo Fundo de Quintal and is considered by many to be the most important figure in samba and pagode in recent years. The carioca sambista has more than 500 songs of his own and has shared the stage with several artists, including Roberto Carlos, his most recent work is the CD Batuques do Meu Lugar.
