A Damassa band was formed in Florianópolis in 2014, with the aim of producing an authorial work, in which the compositions could portray customs and everyday life, addressing topics such as surfing, capoeira, myth, memories and coastal culture. The aesthetic used for this is mainly alternative rock and reggae. However, like contemporary life, the band has many influences and each musician their inspirations, which are mixed during creations.
