The July issue of the project CIC 8:30 - Great Meetings, promoted monthly by the FCC, will pay tribute to blues king BB King. Who commands the night is the band TBZ Blues and your guests.
For two and a half years in the Santa Catarina music scene, TBZ is recognized as one of the exponents of the Magic Island blues. The band is made up of Marcel Coelho (guitar and vocals) Renato Carvalho (down) and Martin Bustingorri (drums). They invite the guitarists Cristiano Ferreira, Alex Arroyo e Emanuel Bloom, with the support of the keyboards of Alexander Green e Renato Casca, the metals of Fidel Pinero (trumpet), Aurelius Martins (trombone) and Xuan Arfenoni (saxophone) and Sergio Negrao e Mercia Maruk our Backing vocals, to complete the show.
BB King is considered the king of the blues and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 1987. He died on May 15, 2015, in Las Vegas, at the age of 89. The legend says goodbye with 16 Grammy Awards, more than 50 albums in almost 60 years of career and songs that marked an era, such as The thrill is gone, Threeo'clock Blues, How Blue Can You Get and many other successes.
