O Continente Shopping promotes this Saturday, the 05th, the traditional Adoption Fair of adult dogs and puppies. The first edition of this year will be in partnership with the Collective Protection United of San José. The fair takes place from 14 pm to 18 pm in front of Cobasi, in access 1 of the mall.
The adult dogs available for adoption are already neutered and vaccinated and the puppies have their castration guaranteed by the São José Board of Animal Welfare (DIBEA). As this is a responsible adoption, guardian candidates undergo an interview. This ensures that those interested will have adequate space and will be aware that, in addition to feed and veterinary care, animals need a lot of attention and affection. Last year alone, between August and December, around 48 animals were adopted at the fair promoted by the mall in partnership with the Institution.
In addition to adoption, the fair will also be a collection point for plastic caps from the Ecopet project. The initiative helps to promote the castration of animals and the purchase of feed.
