Completing 18 years in 2013, the Nin-Jitsu Community was born in the underground of Porto Alegre and became one of the bands that had the most hits in the south of Brazil. Since the first show, the band has followed a path of great achievements, awards and records. In 1997, even before releasing their first album, the band won the award for best demo-clip on MTV's VMB, with the song Detective, an absolute hit by the Ninjas. When it was on stage at Porão do Rock, in Brasília, it was considered one of the best shows, it attracted 80 thousand people and drew praise from critics and the public present. It is the band that holds the record for performances at Planeta Atlântida (RS and SC), one of the biggest music festivals in Latin America, being chosen several times as the best show at the mega event that always presents the main names in Brazilian music. With six official albums released in addition to several compilations and now the recently released DVD, the group remains faithful to its origins of making humorous music combining rock, carioca funk and whatever else it can, without losing its originality.
