Composer and instrumentalist Kleber Alexandre will perform a guitar concert at the UFSC Theater (next to Igrejinha), on Wednesday, November 8, at 20 pm, as part of the Experimenta Project (promoted by the Department of Culture and Art , from the Federal University of Santa Catarina).
In this concert, the musician will perform compositions for solo guitar by Spanish composers: Tarrega (Capricho Arabe, Recuerdos de Alhambra), Llobet (El noy de la Mare), Torroba (Romance de los pinos); by Brazilian composers: Villa-Lobos (Choro 1, Prelúdio 3), Dilermando Reis (Dr. Sabe tudo), Baden Powell (Brazilian Portrait) and Leo Brouwer, Cuban composer (Un dia de Noviembre). In addition to these pieces, Kleber Alexandre will perform some compositions of his own, including Preludio, Quasi uma Miniatura and Vague Relics.
