The Alliance Française of Florianópolis presents another edition of Concertos AF, celebrating two important dates in French history: the storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789 and the Federation Festival on July 14, 1790, culminating in the Fête Nationale ( national festival).
At Aliança, the date will be celebrated with music, in a historical review of chamber instrumental production from the end of the 18th century and the first decades of the 19th century, through the musical trajectory of three great names in French music: Joseph Bologne de Saint- George, George Onslow and Louise Farrenc. Such artists marked the history of French music, achieving unusual prominence for the time, when it came to names such as a woman and an Afro-descendant.Start: 14/07/2017 23:00
