This is the second time this year that the Aliança Francesa in Florianópolis has hosted a renowned French musician in the capital of Santa Catarina. Denis Colin stands out as a clarinetist and composer, treading a path full of success and contributions in the art scene. After studying clarinet at the Conservatoire de Versailles, in 1975 Denis turned to jazz, participating in an internship with saxophonist Steve Lacy and taking his first steps alongside Alan Silva. During his career, the musician directed the Institute of Artistic and Cultural Perception (IACP), from 1979 to 1982, and taught jazz at the Montreuil Sous Bois Conservatory. Tiê Pereira (double bass) will play alongside Alexandre Damaria (percussion), Luiz Gustavo Zago (Piano) and the big star of the day Denis Colin (Bass Clarinet).
