This Thursday, Emporium Bocaiúva invites Denise de Castro and band to put on a show full of bossa nova and samba classics. With influences from musicians such as Cole Porter, Gershwin, Miles Davis, Tom Jobim, João Donato and Dorival Caymmis, the group presents exclusive arrangements that value the performance of each musician.
In the repertoire of the night are songs like Chega de saudade, out of tune, You and I, Girl from Ipanema, among others. The group is made up of Denise de Castro (piano and voice), Neil Platt (sax and flute) and Martin Bustingorri (drums).
