On the Metal Day of 6th Edition of the Catarinense Rock Week, four bands perform a sequence of shows: khrophus, from São José, is an institution of Brazilian death metal. With three albums under their belt, released in 2003, 2009 and 2013, the group formed by Adriano Ribeiro (guitar), Carlos Fernandes (drums) and Hugo Deigman (bass and vocals) has completed three tours across Europe and also shows in Argentina and Uruguay . O somberland is a black metal quartet from Criciúma, with Diavolus and Dmortest playing the guitars, E. Nargoth the bass and vocals, on drums his long-time friend WAG. They are currently signed with the São Paulo record label Heavy Metal Rock. The band Threzor is originally from Florianópolis, plays Thrash Metal and features Lucas Souza (vocalist and guitarist), Gabriel Theofelo (guitarist), Matt Prusse (bassist) and John Kuntze (guitarist). The band rest in chaos is mainly influenced by Thrash/Groove Metal, always counting on the versatility and influences of each of its members in the compositions, thus assuming an aggressive sound with lyrics based on personal experiences, criticism and social problems.
