In this concert we present Novo Chamamé, a musical genre originating in Northeast Argentina and South Brazil, from Richard Scofano. Scofano's proposal with the chamaé is parallel to that of Astor Piazzolla with the tango. Based on classical forms and with diverse global influences, he transformed Chamamé into concert music.
