O show Ella and Other Muses - 100 Years of Swing is a tribute to the unforgettable muses of Jazz, Blues, and Soul, especially to Ella Fitzgerald, who in April of this year would celebrate her centenary of birth. The repertoire includes songs by Cole Porter, Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Arthur Hamilton, among others.
The show features singers Claudia Todorov, Elisabeth Faraco, Isabella Fialho Lemos and Luciana Santaella, in addition to guests Guilherme Botelho, Gustavo Lorenzo and saxophonist Pablo Moritz. The band is composed by Alexandre Piazza (double bass), Carol Miranda (drums), Denise de Castro (piano) and Silvia Beraldo (sax/flute and musical direction). The show also has the scenic direction of theater director Sulanger Bavaresco.
