Symphonic Special is an unprecedented series of events launched by OSCA in the 2018 Season, which offers the public the perfect mix between the popular and the classical, placing musicians from the orchestra's sections and renowned local popular artists side by side. An absolute box office success in all the performances presented last year (11), the series is now gaining more strength and sympathy from the public, entering its second edition as a highlighted part of the 2019 Season of events at the Santa Catarina symphony. In April, the most select team of OSSCA musicians shares with Nelson Viana the great task of producing what will be a truly beautiful and moving tribute to one of the greatest artists in Brazilian music: Tim Maia.
