In the week in which the poet would have celebrated his 156th birthday, TAC 8 in Ponto hosts a singing and poetry performance in honor of Cruz e Sousa. In the show, Brazilian and international popular music mixes with dance and poetry and both take place under the strains of Florianopolitan musician Cláudio Kokode and his guests. It is a meeting of traditional names in the cultural scene: Carvalhinho da Ilha, Nenem Maravilha, Diego Della Nina, Vilson Sousa, Edinho Roldan, Leco Hübbe, Hamilton Cunha, Aurélio Martins, Adi Batera, Edson Tadeu, the poet Edenice Fraga, the interpreter de Cruz e Sousa, JB Costa, the reciter Iratan Curvello and the Dança Mittos group.
