Anyone passing by Shopping Itaguaçu on April 15th and 16th will have several attractions to enjoy over the weekend. The project Itaguaçu + Music presents the artists Chico Peixoto and Washington Guimarães, who will bring the best of MPB to liven up the food courts. already the Artisan Collective will exhibit various products made by artisans from Greater Florianópolis, such as decorative items, accessories and food.
The start of the presentations Itaguaçu + Music will be on Saturday 15th, from 18 pm to 21 pm, at the Piso food court L1, with Chico Peixoto, singer and guitarist who started his musical studies at the age of 15, but it was in 1992 that he started playing professionally in Florianópolis. His influences are varied: MPB, Flamenco and pop. In addition to guitar, he studied Brazilian rhythms and vocal technique. In day 16, Sunday, from 18 pm to 21 pm, it will be Washington Guimarães's turn, born in Goiânia, who began his musical career at the age of 17, already influenced by MPB singers. Currently, he resides in Florianópolis, where he performs frequently in bars and cultural spaces. The presentation will be on ground floor food court L2, with genuinely Brazilian hits. Both performances are open to the public.
Already Artisan Collective promotes in Floor L2, in front of the Taco store, Saturday from 10 am to 22 pm and Sunday from 12 pm to 20 pm, local fashion, art and decoration producers to publicize their work in spaces with democratic access to the public. Decorative and fashion items, chimarrão gourds, accessories, ceramics, flowers, candles and Amigurumi will be offered.
