Ainikè means both "hi" and "thank you" in the Malinkê language. It is an expression used every day at sunrise in the village of Sangbarala, in northwest Guinea Conakry, Africa. The show is a creative process by Coletivo Abayomi using the group's existing vocabulary, in a collaborative and authorial way. The group emerged in 2009 and bases its work on the creation and development of vocabulary, movement patterns and traditional rhythms of African origins in the context of Mandén dance and music (a West African linguistic branch). It carries out various actions and events with the aim of expanding, disseminating and promoting African arts and culture, and as human and collective development.
