May 25th, Thursday, has the first edition of musical museum, with gypsy jazz from Mauro Albertt. Composer, violinist and gypsy jazz guitarist, Mauro Albert is dedicated to his art and has been building a bridge between roots and sound modernity, having recorded six instrumental CDs with his own compositions. In the show, Mauro presents the classic instrumentals and even gives a little bit of his projects.
Mauro Albertt is one of the main names in Jazz Manouche/Gypsy jazz. Guitarist and composer, his discography has four CDs dedicated to the style. He has been promoting gypsy jazz in Brazil in his monthly column in Guitar Player magazine and is an artist for Hot Club Records, the biggest record label of the genre, based in Oslo (Norway).
